Electric Consumer

Electric Consumer is the award-winning publication of Indiana’s electric cooperative community.

The publication serves consumers of 28 locally-owned, not-for-profit electric cooperatives including Jasper County REMC. More than 240,000 families and businesses receive the printed newspaper as part of their electric co-op membership. Electric Consumer provides news, information and features about people, places and issues relating to electric co-ops, their consumers and communities.

Jasper County REMC members receive the Electric Consumer each month with a customized center section written by the cooperative. This section, titled “LiveWire,” has important news and information about our local electric cooperative along with a hidden account number each month. If you find your account number, and call us, you’ll get a $25 bill credit.
