Operation Round Up

Jasper County REMC members have granted over $750,000 through Operation Round Up!

How it Works

• Jasper County REMC members have their electric bills “rounded up” to the next dollar each month unless you opt out of the program
• For example, rather than paying $61.95, you would pay an even $62, with the extra 5¢ going into the Operation Round Up® fund
• The average yearly member contribution is $6

Operation Round Up® Board

• Operation Round Up® is overseen by a 9-person board of trustees
• The board is appointed by the Jasper County REMC board of directors
• The board oversees the fund and issues the Round Up dollars to worthy efforts that benefit our communities
• The funds are not issued to pay utility bills or support political candidates

Applications are accepted during March, June, September, and December.
